Table and Chart Description
The table shows the information regarding the highest, the lowest and the mean of the annual salaries of five different occupations: Sales, Engineering, IT and Telecommunications, Education, and Tourism in Australia in 2006.
The maximum annual salary among these five occupations went with the Sales sector, the wages was $216000. The lowest salary belonged to the Tourism sector which accounts three times less amount than the Sales sector. There was not much difference between Engineering and IT & Telecommunications, the annual salaries of these two occupations were $149000 and $145000 respectively.
In addition, the minimum annual salary among these five occupations went with the Sales sector. The salary was $275000. It was about two times less than those of the Engineering and IT & Telecommunications sectors. Besides, the wages of Education sector was $36000 that was $6000 more than the Tourism sector.
As for the mean of the annual salary, the Engineering sector ranked the first , the salary was $81000, it was $5000 higher than the second one, i.e. the Sales sector. The salary of the Tourism was $42000 which was the lowest, this amount was only half of the Engineering sector.
In summary, the highest maximum wage goes to Sales sector whereas the highest minimum and average wages belong to Engineering sector. Also the highest annual salary ...
