The three pie charts show the proportion of different statuses of school graduates, i.e. being employed, unemployed and further education in Australia in the past three decades: 1980, 1990 and 2000.

According to the charts, about half of the students would continue their studies after graduation in 1980. However, the number of graduates who continued their further education in next two decades decreased. The figures were less than half and about a quarter in 1990 and 200 respectively.

In addition, the number of graduates being employed in 1980 was more than half. In the next 20 years, the employed graduates increased drastically. Until 2000, more than half of students became employed.

As for the school leavers being unemployed, the figures in these 30 years remained the same, the numbers of the school leavers were less than a quarter.

In conclusion, the trend of graduated students furthering their studies is moving downward while the number of school leavers being employed kept increasing in the year of 1980,1990 and 2000.
