Personality Development

Our characteristics can influence our personality and development. Although personality can be unique in terms of one's outlook, height, and complexion; these unique factors can in turn affect our development. From my points of view, I agree with the statement and my opinions are presented as follows.

First of all, our characteristics can be inherited from our parents, we cannot change them easily. For instance, the appearance, the height, and the colour of skin are from our parents. If we are born with a lovely face, everyone will accept us easily. Moreover, some pretty women and handsome men can win friendship and admiration of others because of their beautiful faces. This becomes beneficial for them to build their social networks and connections .

In addition, the other factor can influence our personality and development is our height. Those people who are short may have low self-esteem. They may think other people would laugh at them, they may not have confidence in themselves. Besides, some occupations require the applicants to have certain height. If they are shorter than the required height , they will not succeed in applying the job.

Furthermore, some people are proud of their colour of skin, this usually happens in the Western countries. The White seem to have more authorities and benefits than the Black, even their social status is not the same. To deal with these problems, the Black should pay much more effort and overcome their weakness, just like Obama, the President of USA.

Based on the above discussions, it is obvious that our characteristics can definitely influence our personality and development. I believe that our characteristics will also affect the future of individual's development. However, we can always change our destiny by making effort to let people know our strengths.
